The Quest for Deposits (pdf)
This major, multi-client landmark study, conducted by BAI and its research partners Novantas, MarkeTech Systems International, McGuire Performance Solutions and Demos Solutions, investigated the approaches that best help large financial institutions maximize the acquisition, retention and expansion of depositor relationships. It looked within numerous major banking organizations for patterns, practices, insights and breakthroughs and spawned BAI’s Deposit Performance Benchmarking, which utilizes actual customer data when comparing a bank’s performance across more than 65 participant-defined metrics.

BAI/Forrester Survey On Technology Priorities (pdf)
In February 2002, BAI and Forrester Research surveyed 165 banking executives about their technology and internet priorities for 2002. The survey revealed that improving customer retention through online customer service is a top business and technology priority for banks. Enhancing online customer service functionality, understanding customer needs and the appropriate alignment of key performance metrics were also identified as key initiatives.
